Reed is active in the meetings industry, with membership the Professional Convention Management Association. She has served as a consultant for that organization by editing their substantive text on meeting management, developing, with a colleague from Indiana University/Purdue University – Indianapolis, the PCMA instructor’s resource center. Reed is currently working on a research project, identifying curriculum for the meeting’s industry at universities around the world. She encourages students to attend national or regional conferences connected to these organizations, expanding student networking and professional development opportunities.
With two grown daughters and a Portugese Water Dog, Reed’s personal life is full. Her relaxation options include training her dog, remodeling her house, crocheting, reading, and writing. |
