Dr. Myung recently moved to Greensboro, NC with her husband, Prof. Sang Nam, who teaches Interactive Media at the Graduate School of Interactive Media, Elon University, Elon, NC.

Dr. Myung now lives and maintains her home-based studio while performing both locally and nationally. Also, as a scholar, she has presented her research on piano pedagogy and SoTL, Scholarship of Teaching & Learning, on music education at various venues, including the College Music Society Conferences, the International Society fo Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Commons Conferences. In 2010, she was selected as National Teaching Scholar by Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

Before moving to NC, Dr. Myung had lived in Madison, WI from 2003 to 2009, where she strated her graduate study under Mr. Christopher Taylor, one of the renowned world-class pianists and a medal winner at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Before she came to Southwest Wisconsin, she finished her M.M. in Piano Performance at Indiana University, Bloomington, which has been named the best keyboard school in U.S. for many years.
